The Montague High School Theater Program is presenting the production, “Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” based on the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl.

“Willy Wonka & Chocolate Factory” will be performed by Montague High School students on Friday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 10, at 2 p.m. in the Montague High School Center for the Arts.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is the story of Charlie Bucket, a poor but good-spirited boy, who lives nearby Willy Wonka’s mysterious Chocolate Factor. Wonka sends out five Golden Tickets into the world, which allow five children and the guardian of their choice to take a tour of his factory.

Charlie, the winner of the fifth and final ticket, is taken by surprise when he and his Grandpa Joe go on a magical tour of the factory with four other undeserving children.

People of all ages will enjoy this show, and it is encouraged that everyone come out to support the Montague High School Theater Program.

Tickets for Willy Wonka are $5 for all ages, and are available in advance and at the door. Tickets will be told in advance in the Montague High School office from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. during the week for reserved seats, and in the Montague High School Auditorium at the door.
