	Rev. Donn Tufts of St. James Catholic Church in Montague places ashes on the forehead of a parishioner during Ash Wednesday Mass this week. Ash Wednesday begins the Christian Lenten season of penance, reflection and fasting in preparation for Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday. This year Easter is on March 31.
