Mrs. Florence Ginn
 
Mrs. Florence Ginn, age 84, of Rothbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Ginn in 1980.

She was a homemaker, and a life-long resident of Rothbury. She was also a life-long member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was an active member of the church altar society. Mrs. Ginn loved working in her yard and was well-known for her pierogi and other desserts.

She is survived by her sons, James F. (Betty) Ginn, Jerry (Margie) Ginn and John (Laurie) Ginn; grandchildren, James W. (Wendy) Ginn, Jeff (Erin) Ginn, Kelly (Dan) Yost, Tracy (Rob) Weesies, Matthew (Andrea) Ginn, Crystal England, Eric England (and Laurel), and Cheyenne England; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and her brother, Albert (Barb) Hain.

Mrs. Ginn was also preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Hain; brother, Joseph Hain; sister, Virginia Korson and brother-in-law, Gene Korson.

The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Ginn was held Wednesday, Feb. 13th, 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Rothbury with Father Phil Witkowski and Father Donn Tufts as concelebrants. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery. Those who desire may consider Our Lady of the Assumption Church c/o St. James Catholic Church, 5179 Dowling St., Montague, MI 49437 as a suggested memorial.
