Winter classes start for youth string program
 
The White Lake and Oceana Junior Strings programs will start this week for those in grades three through high school who are interested in playing the violin.

The White Lake and Oceana Junior Strings programs will start this week for those in grades three through high school who are interested in playing the violin.



The White Lake and Oceana Junior Strings will start classes for the winter semester the week of Jan. 21.

Oceana Junior Strings will hold classes on Thursdays starting Jan. 24 at Hart Middle School. The White Lake Junior Strings hold classes on Mondays starting Jan. 21 at Whitehall United Methodist Church.

The beginning-intermediate string programs are open to students from grade three through high school who wish to study violin. Classes are stream-lined to a once a week class that runs on a three-week rotation incorporating two semi-private lessons and then a group class.

The Oceana and White Lake Junior Strings are programs of the Music and Performing Arts branch of the Arts Council of White Lake. For more information, please contact Sondra Cross at 231-329-3056.
