The Whitehall cheer team performs its second-round routine at last Saturday’s Rocket Invitational held at Reeths-Puffer. The Vikings finished ninth at the event and the host Rockets finished second.
MUSKEGON — The Reeths-Puffer Rockets opened their cheer season with a bang Saturday at their own invitational, taking second place at the 10-team event with a score of 651.00.
Mona Shores was first with a score of 688.94.
The Whitehall Vikings also participated in the event, placing ninth. In the Division 3/4 category, Whitehall was fifth of the six teams participating.
