A “heaven-sent” treat for the holidays, Plaid Tidings offers the best of Forever Plaid tied up in a nifty package complete with a big Christmas bow on top.

Filled with Christmas standards that have been “Plaid-erized,” the boys are back to do their Christmas Special. Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites like “Strangers in Paradise,”, “Sh-Boom,” the condensed “Ed Sullivan Show” – this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and the Vienna Boys Choir – and a Plaid Caribbean Christmas which put the “Day-O” in Excelsis.

Local actors include Heath Carpenter, a 2009 Whitehall High School graduate who will play the part of Sparky, and Paul Schlaff, a counselor at Reeths-Puffer High School who will play the part of Franky.

The show will run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 2 (will not perform on Thanksgiving day) at the Beardsley Theater, Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts, 427 W. Western Ave. in Downtown Muskegon.

Ticket prices are adults: $19, senior: $17 and students: $17. Tickets can be purchased by calling StarTickets at 800-585-3737, visiting the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts Box Office 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday or visit any StarTickets outlet.
