Jean E. (Jensen) Cogswell, age 86, of Whitehall, died November 14, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Sept 28,1926, in Montague, MI to William and Edna (Rabe) Taylor. Jean graduated from Montague High School in 1944. She married Paul D. Jensen in June of 1947 and graduated from Central Michigan University in 1948. Following the death of her husband Paul in 1987, she married Richard Cogswell in 1992. Jean was preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Richard. Jean taught in the Whitehall Public Schools for over 30 years.
FAMILY: 2 sons, Robert (fiancé Dana Stevens) Jensen of Royal Oak and David (Lisa) Jensen of Royal Oak; 4 grandchildren Levi (fiancé Claire White) Jensen, Danika (Billy) Degg, Kyrstin Jensen, and Andrew Jensen; sister, Mary (Taylor) Clark.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 11:00 AM, Montague United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook St., Montague.
VISITATION: Monday, November 19, from 6 - 8 PM, at Clock Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall.
