SCOTTVILLE — Whitehall’s Jessica Harris took first place individually at the Kelder Invitational at Mason County Central Thursday afternoon, finishing her race in 19:58. The Vikings’ girls would place second as a team at the race.

Montague teams 6th at Fruitport

FRUITPORT — The Montague cross-country teams each placed sixth last Saturday at the Fruitport Invitational.

The boys’ team saw its top three finishers earn medals, as Carson Williams placed 17th with a time of 18:33. Spencer Morse was 21st and Dylan Graber 24th.

R-P girls 3rd, boys 8th at Allendale

ALLENDALE — The Reeths-Puffer cross country teams raced last Saturday at the Allendale Invitational. The girls placed third in the Falcon division while the boys were eighth.
