Montague drops close one
Montague fell Tuesday evening in a tight five-game conference match with Oakridge. The final score of the match was 25-21, 21-25, 7-25, 25-23, 15-8 in favor of the Eagles.
Whitehall sweeps Ravenna
Whitehall easily dispatched Ravenna in three straight games in another conference match Tuesday night by a score of 25-9, 25-5, 25-15. The Vikings moved to 18-6 overall and 3-0 in league play with the win.
R-P 0-4-1 this week
Reeths-Puffer dropped three matches and tied one Saturday at the Grandville Invitational. The Rockets split their two-game match with Chippewa Hills, with each game score being 25-17. However, the Rockets dropped the other two pool play matches to Morley-Stanwood and host Grandville.
