White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce staff members from left, Bev Hunt, Amy VanLoon and Annie Rupart show off the White Lake Community Business Expo banner hung on the chamber’s depot building to promote the March 16 event.

A first-hand look at the diverse products and services offered by many of White Lake’s businesses will be available to the public this coming Saturday morning, March 16 at the area’s inaugural White Lake Community Business Expo at the Whitehall High School.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for our merchants and service providers to showcase ‘what they do’ to people in our area,” said Amy VanLoon, executive director of the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. “We have a vibrant business community that has much to offer residents, visitors and to each other. They have a lot to be proud of! The Expo is yet another great way to connect businesses with community.”

There will be over 45 businesses represented at the Business Expo and attendees can expect to enjoy a wide range of services and trades. Drawings and giveaways will also be offered within vendors booths with values ranging from $25-$525 along with an 8” Kindle Fire HD and OtterBox.

Sponsors of this event include, Gold Sponsor (Scheid Plumbing Heating & Cooling and Frontier Communications), Silver Sponsor (Carmichael Heating & Air Conditioning) and Bronze Sponsors (Heartland of White Lake and Business and Computer Hub). Their investment in the Business Expo has allowed for the event coordinators to host a quality, top notch expo.

VanLoon also said, “We are incredibly proud and excited about the way this Expo has been received by our business community. To have this kind of response our first year is amazing. Not only do we have a wide range of vendors but we have a tremendous group of sponsors. Scheid Plumbing, Heating & Cooling along with Frontier Communications both joined us as Gold Sponsors and we couldn’t be happier to highlight them in our show along with Silver Sponsor Carmichael Heating and Air Conditioning and Bronze Sponsors Heartland of White Lake and Business and Computer Hub. Our sponsors have also added significant value to this event.”

The Community Business Expo is presented by the White Lake Area Chamber. It is free to the public and will be held in conjunction with the popular, annual Montague–Whitehall Rotary Pancake Breakfast. Expo hours are 8 am. – 12 p.m. and will be held in Whitehall High School Gymnasium, 3100 White Lake Drive.

The pancake breakfast hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
