Energy forum in Grand Rapids

LANSING – Michiganians will have a chance to speak out about energy and the environment at public forums to be held by the Michigan Public Service Commission and the Michigan Energy Office of the Michigan Economic Development Corp.

“The forums give citizens a chance to share their thoughts about renewable energy, the cost of electricity, energy efficiency and how energy use impacts the environment,” State Rep. Collene Lamonte (D-Montague) said. “I urge everyone interested in these important topics to take part in these public forums.”

A series of forums will be held around the state. The nearest forum to Muskegon will take place on Monday, Feb. 25 at the Grand Valley State University Loosemoore Auditorium, located at 401 Fulton St. West in Grand Rapids. Other forum sites can be obtained at michigan.gov/energy/0,4580,7-230-54408---,00.html.
