A benefit for the family of Kevin Lee “Lucky” Conkright, age 36, who died Dec. 1 as a result of a fatal head injury he suffered two days earlier while playing indoor soccer, will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 4-7 p.m., at Fruitport High School, 357 N. 6th St.

Admission is $8 per person, $10 per couple and $12 per family. The fundraiser will include food for purchase (50¢ to $1), silent auction, kids activities, bake sale and 50/50 drawings.

All the proceeds will go to Conkright’s widow, Brie, and their three girls, ages 13, 11 and 8.
