Samantha Suzanne Edenburn

Samantha Suzanne Edenburn, “Sammy Sue”, of Manistee, was carried away from us by angels unexpectedly January 5, 2013.

She will be missed by so many.

She was born and raised in Manistee, Michigan the daughter of Kurt and Julie Edenburn; sister to Heidi (Mark Kelley of Whitehall), Monica (Mark Fett of Brethren) and Kurt (Emily Edenburn of Whitehall); Aunt Tam to nieces and nephews, Nicole and Amber Kelley, Foster, Fletcher and Lucy Edenburn, and Vincent and Avamae Fett.

There are no words to express or explain our loss of Sam Bob. She was a loving, playful and silly Aunt, a Sister, whose love was ever glowing with her smile and joy, and also a dear friend and daughter to Mom and Dad. She will be remembered most of all for the joy and happiness she brought to us by her strong love and closeness to her family.

Sam Bob was a free spirit that now soars with all the beautiful angels above. It is so hard to say goodbye. Now death leaves us wondering why she had to go so early. Our family is strong, we are close, but no longer will be whole due to her being gone.

Sammy enjoyed being at Mom and Dad’s in Manistee where she fished, rode the quad, hung out with family while doing yard work, just to be “home.”

Cremation took place at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial services to celebrate Sam will be at Faith Covenant Church in Manistee on Saturday January 12 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon.

Memorial contributions in honor of Sammy may be made to St. Baldrick’s Childhood Cancer Research, Gay & Lesbian Support Groups, and Mental Health Services of Michigan. All donations given will be distributed in Samantha’s name with pride.

Please visit Sam’s personal book of memories page at www.oakgrovefh.com to share a story or photo.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
