Mrs. Stella M. Buxton Taylor



Stella M. Buxton Taylor, age 89, of Whitehall, died January 4, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 10, 1923, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to D'Autrey and Ollie (Newbury) Couch. She attended Southern Methodist University. On June 21, 1942, she married Errol Buxton. He preceded her in death in 1977. She later married John Taylor. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Taylor was a communications supervisor for Texas Instruments Corp. for 27 years, retiring in 1982. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

FAMILY: Sons, Bill Buxton of CA and Stan Buxton of Whitehall; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

SERVICE: Private services have been held.
