Posted: 1-7-2013 Kids’ fishing lessons available Saturday
All area 3rd-5th grade students are invited to a free two-hour fishing class at Lebanon Lutheran Church, 1101 S. Mears Ave in Whitehall, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan 12.
Sponsored by the White Lake Area Sportfishing Association, the classes will include ice fishing techniques, knot tying, fish identification and biology, and general fishing techniques.
Fishing door prizes and free refreshments provided. Parents are invited to accompany their child. Registration forms are available at area elementary schools or at the door on Jan. 12.
