Maxine B. Schmeling



Maxine Schmeling, age 74, of Whitehall, died December 6, 2012. She was born January 21, 1938, in Vero Beach, Florida, to Mabrey and Clara (Collins) Bell. She was married December 6, 1959, to Fred Schmeling. Maxine had worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Paulson for a number of years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a dedicated member of TOPS. The family of Maxine would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Oceana Medical Care Facility for their kindness and care of their wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

FAMILY: Her husband of 53 years, Fred; 1 son, David (Jeanette) Schmeling; 2 daughters, Janice Schmeling and Rhonda White (Scott); 3 grandchildren, Kyle White (Angie), Taylor White (David) and Brittany White (Dylon); 2 sisters, Charlene (Rodger) Smith and Pamela (Paul) Ronning.

SERVICE: Monday, December 10, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Clock Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall, with the Rev. James A. Swierenga officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Muskegon.

VISITING TIME: Monday, 10 AM until service time, at the funeral home in Whitehall.
