Rockets fall to Zeeland East
MUSKEGON — Reeths-Puffer’s cross-country teams dropped a dual meet Wednesday afternoon against Zeeland East. The meet was run at Muskegon State Park.

Reeths-Puffer’s girls ran well, with half the top 14 finishers, but the Chix’ posting the top three finishers proved the difference in defeating the Rockets. Shyanna Archer was R-P’s top finisher, placing fourth with a time of 21:26.8.
Summer Hussey came in fifth for Reeths-Puffer. Micah Peel was ninth, McKenzie Richardson was 10th and Emily Cross was 11th.
The Rockets also had finishers place 13th (Naomi Parker), 14th (Jackie Anderson), 16th (Aubrey Glick) and 17th (Madeleine Dittman).
“The first five R-P girls made the course all-time list of the fastest R-P girls to run on the State Park course,” Rockets’ coach Dee Richardson said.
