Cole Chase of Grant was fishing last Sunday with his dad, Jon, on Sylvan Lake, north of Newaygo, when this bruiser northern pike took the bait on a tip up. Cole hauled this 39”, 15 lb. plus northern through the ice himself. What a great way to start the season.
