White Lake – Perch are still active on Indian Bay and the post office, but size has been mostly small. Wigglers and spikes have produced as many fish as minnows. Muskegon – Bluegills have been slow at Snug Harbor but will probably pick up a bit as days get longer. Some perch reported at Sand Docks with spikes being the best bet. 2nd St. area has been closed off by the police department for unsafe conditions. Muskegon River – Water levels improving and steelhead action has been reported as good for fly-fishermen and those using drop back technique with both spawn and plugs.

Portage Lake – Perch fishing slowed somewhat, but patient anglers can still catch a meal of one of the tastiest fish that swims.
