Mr. Bruce E. Hall



Bruce Eugene Hall, aged 78, of Montague, passed away on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 after a recent cancer diagnosis. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 26, 1934 to William M. Hall and Ester C. Hall (Peterson). He graduated from Muskegon High School in 1952 and married Katherine E. Tobin on June 23, 1956. He worked for Misco for a few years and then co-owned Towne Supply Co. in Muskegon, with his brother, Bill. He retired in 1980 and was a member of the Elks, Eagles and White Lake Community Fund. He loved his family, friends, church, the stock market, White Lake, and the Montague –Whitehall community. He is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine E. Hall (Tobin), brother Bill Hall Jr. (Patricia Hall), sister, Mary Lou Gielow, son, William Gregory Hall, daughter, Kandace Pouliot, (David Pouliot), four grandchildren (Kelly Hall, Kyle Hall, Kristina Pouliot and Daniel Pouliot), several nieces and nephews and Bruce’s lifelong best friend, Bob Woodard and his wife, Marilyn Woodard. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Alice Mae McGuire (Hall), brothers-in-law, Robert Gielow and Ray McGuire.

VISITATION will be Saturday, February 23 from 5 – 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 24 from 1 – 2 p.m.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 24. Both visitations and the memorial service will be held at White Lake Congregational Church (UCC), 1809 S. Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461.
