Mrs. Florence M. Cederquist
 
Mrs. Florence M. Cederquist, age 97, of Montague, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center in Whitehall.

She was born February 26, 1915 in Claybanks Township to Fred and Mae (Hunt) Deymann. She lived in Claybanks until the age of twenty-three. She married Donald Cederquist in 1937. They lived in Muskegon for two years before moving to Montague. Mr. Cederquist passed away in 1960.

Mrs. Cederquist was a custodian and bus driver at Montague Public Schools before her retirement. She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Montague.

She is survived by her sons, Arland (Laura) Cederquist, Robert (Denise) Cederquist and Calvin “Hap” (Roberta) Cederquist; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mae Deymann; daughter, Jean Cederquist; brothers, Donald, Rowland and Clayton; and infant sisters, Beatrice and Dorothy.

Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 24th, 2-5 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 25th, 11 am at St. James Catholic Church in Montague with Father Donn Tufts as Celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Montague. Memorials to either Heartland Hospice, 3230 Eagle Park Drive NE, Ste 200, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 or Mt. Calvary (St. James) Cemetery Fund c/o St. James Catholic Church, 5149 Dowling St. Montague, MI 49437, are appreciated.
