Mr. Donald E. Neubauer



Donald Eugene Neubauer, age 80, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Neubauer was born on March 28, 1932, in Muskegon, MI, to the late Andrew J. and Nannie Lou (Thornburg) Neubauer.

Survivors include: his three daughters, Cynthia Neubauer, of Douglas, GA, Laura (Richard) Connell, and Lisa Siedenstrang, both of Whitehall, MI, three sons, David (Penny) Neubauer, of Alliance, OH, Stephen Neubauer, of Muskegon, MI, Nathan (Janet) Neubauer, of Louisville, OH, special family friend, Thomas Shaffer, of Muskegon, MI, one brother, James Neubauer, of Montague, MI, ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Beryl Neubauer, and two daughters, Joyce and Janice Neubauer.

Don had a career spanning over 40 years that he devoted himself to as an NDT Level III at Misco/Howmet (Alcoa) in Whitehall, MI, and Hampton, VA, and PCC in Minerva, OH, and Douglas, GA, retiring from both.

Memorial Service will be held later in the Spring, at a date to be announced, at St. James Lutheran Church, in Montague, MI.
