There will be plenty of fun and candy when the Easter Bunny arrives in the Village of Rothbury this March.
Nancy Rolf, the village’s recreation director, said the Easter Bunny will arrive on a Grant Township fire truck at the village’s annual Easter Egg Hunt which will be held Saturday, March 30.
The event begins at 11 a.m., and the hunt actually starts in the village park at 11:30 a.m.
Rolf said the hunt will consist of three age groups for children up to age 13.
The village has budgeted $500 for the event. Rolf said children in the hunt, dash to pick up plastic eggs containing candy. Eggs are returned to use in future years.
