Community members are invited to attend the “Hot Chili for a Cool City” event on Saturday, Feb. 2 to help support the Downtown Whitehall Beautification Project.

The chili tasting event is a celebration of several veteran Chili-Masters who will be serving up their tasty chili for this special event. Steve Mayberry of Mayberry BBQ, Pub One Eleven, Pekadill’s and Double JJ’s Sundance and Steakhouse are our local establishments and community folks joining in the fun. Chili trimmings and desserts will be prepared by Jean Corsi of the Corner House.

The fundraiser will begin at 5 p.m. and go until 7:30 p.m., “or until the chili’s gone!” The event will be held at Pub One Eleven, 111 W. Colby St. in Whitehall. Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
