New executive director at Every Woman’s Place

Every Woman’s Place Webster House Youth Services Board of Directors and staff has welcomed Lori Rasmussen as its new executive director.

A Muskegon native, Rasmussen comes to the agency with over 10 years of working in the non-profit field and a wealth of knowledge in agency and community leadership.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a Masters in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University. Rasmussen began her career at Webster House Youth Services as a case manager after graduating from MSU, and went on to serve as the Legal Advocate for Every Woman’s Place.

In the last five years Rasmussen worked in Newaygo County as the Housing and Family Services director with TrueNorth Community Services leading the efforts to end hunger and homelessness in the region. During that time she served as the coordinator for the Newaygo and Lake County Homeless Continuum of Cares as well as Region 3 chairperson to MSHDA’s 10-year plan to end homelessness. Most recently Rasmussen joined the Goodwill Industries of West Michigan as the Grant Management specialist.
