Marilyn Tamburello
 
1946 – 2013

Marilyn Tamburello, age 66, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Wilkinson of Southfield, MI; her sister, Elizabeth Castiglione of San Diego, CA; her brother, Robert Wilkinson, formerly of Northville, MI; her loving husband, Jasper G. Tamburello of Montague; her niece, Sherrie Swanson of Jenison; and her son, David Tamburello, Sr. of Kentwood. She leaves behind her son, Bill (Lisa) Tamburello; three grandchildren: David Tamburello, Jr., William Tamburello and Claire Tamburello; her brother, William Wilkinson; as well as many loving relatives of the Wilkinson, Tamburello, Castiglione and Kubizna families.

Born in Southfield, Michigan, Marilyn was a graduate of Marion High School and Michigan State University, and the founder of Profit Mar-Jen Inc. in Kentwood until her retirement in 2001. She was an enthusiastic golfer and an avid reader, who could make a new friend just about anywhere. Marilyn has wintered in Oceanside, CA for the last ten years, and enjoyed living on two coasts.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2013 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Everett Klein officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Operation Smile (www.operationsmile.org). Please sign the family’s online guest book at www.vbkfuneralhome.com.
