
Mr. Carrol W. "Tuffy" Tabor
Carrol W. “Tuffy” Tabor, age 88, of Montague, died January 3, 2013. He was born August 2, 1924, in Muskegon, to Charles and Lettie (Duprey) Tabor. On November 1, 1941, he married the former Marjorie Atchison. Proudly serving in the US Navy during World War II, Mr. Tabor returned home and owned and operated Tabor Decorating of Montague. He was a Communicant member of St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Tabor was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
FAMILY: His wife, Marge; a daughter, Linda (Tony) D’Alessio; 2 sons, Dan (Ann) Tabor and Thomas Tabor; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mert Atchison.
FUNERAL LITURGY: Friday, January 11, 2013, at 11 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 5179 Dowling St., Montague, with the Rev. Fr. Donn P. Tufts presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
VISITING TIME: Thursday, 5-7 PM, at Clock Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall and 10 AM until service time at the church in Montague.
