Peel was impressive in her sophomore season of 2012, leading the way in several races for the Rockets. She placed third in the GMAA meet, with a personal-best time of 19:39, and was fifth in the O-K Black Conference meet. Her totals rank her fifth all-time among Reeths-Puffer runners.

�She�s definitely one to watch in her remaining two seasons,� Peel�s father Ron said. �We�re extremely proud of possibly the most humble athlete one will ever meet.�

Peel was R-P�s lone representative on the all-conference team after the Rockets tied for third place with Mona Shores in the O-K Black. Reeths-Puffer was third in the dual season before placing fourth in the conference tournament.
