Shop With A Cop

Whitehall Police officers Eric Whitlow and Chris Mahoney, and Det. Lt. Brandon Mahoney all participated, with members of other law enforcement agencies in Muskegon County, in the annual Shop with a Cop program sponsored by Meijer Inc. on Dec. 19. The event, which is organized by staff from Muskegon Township Police Department and Meijer, helps area families in need by providing Christmas gifts. A child from the selected family receives $100 from Meijer Inc. to shop in their Holton Rd. store with a Muskegon County Law Enforcement Officer and select gifts for their family. This year the program touched 20 families from all parts of Muskegon County. The officers and children were photographed together.
