Marcella D. "Sis" "Marcie" Ramthun Sorensen



Marcella R. "Sis" "Marcie" Sorensen, of Montague, age 57, died January 2, 2013. She was born December 4, 1955, in Muskegon, to Raymond and Mary Alice (Holden) Ramthun. Marcella was a 1974 graduate of Montague High School and had been a devoted employee of Alcoa Corp. (Misco, Howmet) for 33 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Life Change Church in North Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond.

FAMILY: Her children, Rob (Jenna) Sorensen and their children, Brayen and Kenden Sorensen, and another grandchild, Selah, soon to be born, and Stacy VanTuyl and her daughter, Hallie VanTuyl; her mother, Mary Alice Ramthun; siblings, Roger (Joyce) Ramthun, Sharon (Dan) Brandt, Scottie (Mike) Ransom, Wayne Ramthun and John Ramthun; many nieces & nephews.

SERVICE: Monday, January 7, 2013, at 1 PM, at Life Change Church, 3084 Whitehall Rd., North Muskegon (in Dalton, just south of the blinker light), with Pastor Ron Rands officiating. Interment will be in Hubbard Cemetery, White River Township.

VISITING TIME: Sunday, 5-7 PM, at Clock Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall.
