Mr. Donald v. Iverson
 

"My Donald"



Donald V. Iverson "My Don". age 92, of Whitehall, died October 26, 2012, at his home, with his loving companion of 42 years, Marie Olson, by his side. He was born May 23, 1920, in Whitehall, to Thornton and Catherine (Morrison) Iverson. Don was a self-employed building contractor until retiring. He was an avid golfer and was formerly a member of Algot Johnson American Legion Post #69. He proudly served in the US Army, attached to the US Army Air Corps, in the Pacific, during World War II. He was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Ted, Nellie, Genevieve, Louie and Burnie.

FAMILY: His loving companion, Marie Olson; 1 daughter, Karla Iverson; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie, Tim & Dustin; several nieces & nephews.

SERVICE: Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at 1 PM, at Clock Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall, with the Rev. Gayle S. Berntsen officiating. A MILITARY SALUTE will be conducted at the funeral home at the time of service by the Honor Guard of Algot Johnson American Legion Post #69. Interment will be made in Oakhurst Cemetery, Whitehall.

VISITING TIME: Tuesday, 6-8 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall.
