David M. Maginity Sr., age 65, of New Era, died October 20, 2012. He was born September 15, 1947, in Muskegon, to Ralph and Ila (Wilson) Maginity. Proudly serving in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict, as a helicopter crew chief and gunner, he was shot down twice. He last worked at Johnson Technologies in Muskegon, until retiring. Dave enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR, bird-watching and comedian Jeff Dunham. He was preceded in death by his father, and 2 brothers, Bob and Phil.
FAMILY: 2 sons, David (Leslie) Maginity and Michael (Jennifer) Maginity, both of Holland; a daughter, Heather Martin, of Muskegon; grandchildren, Breanna Maginity, DJ Maginity, Vincent Maginity, Kayla Maginity, Lincoln Michael Maginity, Alexis Moore and Dominic Stevens, all of Holland; his mother, Ila Maginity of Whitehall; 2 brothers, Jack A. Maginity of Muskegon and James R. Maginity of Whitehall; half-brother, Dale Maginity of CA.
TIME OF SHARING: Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 3 PM, at CLOCK Funeral Home of White Lake, 413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall, followed by a MILITARY SALUTE.
VISITING TIME: Saturday, 6-8 PM, and Sunday, 1-3 PM, at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall.
