Posted: 10-8-2012 Youth art fair returns to Nuveen Center |
| |
The Nuveen Community Center for the Arts is offering area students, aged 8-18, the chance to sell their artistic creations at a youth art fair on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. during Montague’s famous Pumpkin Roll.
The art fair will be located on the street in front of the Nuveen Center, 8697 Ferry St., adjacent to the Pumpkin Roll finish line. Youth can reserve a space to sell their handcrafted items by contacting the Nuveen Center at 231-894-2787 or nuveen@artscouncilofwhitelake.org. There is no cost to participate. The public is encouraged to stop by and support our young artistic entrepreneurs.
The Nuveen Center is the educational branch of the Arts Council of White Lake working side-by-side with White River Gallery and the Music & Performing Arts branch to encourage, initiate, and facilitate an enriched artistic, cultural and creative environment throughout the White Lake community. For more information, visit www.artscouncilofwhitelake.org.
