Join the pirate on his quest

Follow the adventures of a one-legged pirate in search of his missing peg leg during the newest free art exhibit at the Nuveen Community Center for the Arts.

Now through Nov. 3, the original oil paintings by Heiner Hertling used to illustrate the children’s book, “A Pirate’s Quest” by Laura Sams and Robert Sams are on display, accompanied by the complete text detailing the wet and wild journey.
