Habitat Project surveys
With the $2.1 million White Lake Shoreline Habitat Restoration Project scheduled to be completed this fall, the Muskegon Conservation District (District), in partnership with the White Lake Public Advisory Council (PAC), is conducting a survey to measure the effectiveness of public education and outreach activities implemented during the project.
According to Jeff Auch, executive director of the conservation district and current chair of the PAC, We have been impressed with public support for the habitat restoration project and are excited to anticipate its completion. We encourage area residents to complete the survey to help us evaluate our outreach efforts and get a better understanding of how the community views the benefits associated with the restoration work.
The survey is expected to take approximately five to ten minutes to complete and is available at: www.muskegoncd.org/whitelakepac. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a link to the survey via email.
Paper copies of the survey are available at the White Lake Community Library, 3900 White Lake Drive in Whitehall and the Muskegon Area District Library Montague Branch, 8778 Ferry Street in Montague. Please mail completed surveys to: Muskegon Conservation District, 940 N. Van Eyck St., Muskegon, MI 49442.
The deadline for survey completion is Oct. 26, 2012. Survey results will be posted after Nov. 16 at www.muskegoncd.org/whitelakepac.
