√ May 11 ...White Lake VFW Post #3256 representatives be out in Montague offering Poppies for donations to help local Veterans and their families.

√ May 14 ... Spring Collage X Concert, 7:30 p.m., Whitehall High School gym.

√ May 15 ... Dirt Dauber Garden Club Plant Auction, 6:30 p.m., at Montague United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook St..

√ May 17 ... Montague / Whitehall Bicycle Rodeo at the Montague Fire Department This is a free event for children.

√ May 17 ... Montague Area Public Schools 6th-8th Grade Band/Choir Concert, 7 p.m., Center for the Arts.

√ May 19 ...Mayfest at Muskegon Community College, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of music and performing arts, a health fair, sports activities, exhibits with free goodies, and a food and beverage court sponsored by local restaurants.

√ June 16-17 ... White Lake Arts and Crafts Festival, Goodrich Park Annex, Whitehall. 10 a.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. Sunday.

√ July 4 ... White Lake 4th of July Parade and Fireworks. 10 a.m. parade through Whitehall and Montague. Fireworks over White Lake at dusk.

√ July 21 ... Celebrate White Lake, 10 a.m., antique wooden boat show, historical displays, tours at Whitehall Municipal Marina.

√ Oct. 20 ... Depot to Depot Fall color tour, Muskegon to Whitehall, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

√ Nov. 16-17 ... White Lake Area Holiday Walk. Carriage rides Friday & Saturday, Muskegon Trolley rides from store to store all day Saturday in both towns. Visit with Santa, listen to caroling and enjoy the luminaries Friday evening.

√ Dec. 1 ... White Lake Christmas Parade, 2 p.m., downtown Whitehall to downtown Montague.

√ Dec. 8 ... Breakfast with Santa, 10 a.m., Whitehall United Methodist Church.

√ Dec. 8 ... Hometown Holiday, 2-7 p.m., Harborview Grille, downtown Whitehall. Tree lighting, caroling, other holiday activities.
